School Reopening Think Tank Welcomes your Ideas
The deadline for parents to select which instructional model they prefer for their children this fall has been extended to Monday, July 27 at 5:00 p.m. For more information, look for the School Reopening Plans graphic on the front page of www.ocps.net.
OCPS is looking ahead to the 2020-21 school year. While Florida districts are waiting for direction from the Governor and Florida Department of Education regarding reopening, OCPS is brainstorming now for three potential models: (1) distance learning, (2) face-to-face learning, and (3) blended distance and face-to-face learning.
We invite you to be a part of our School Reopening Think Tank by submitting ideas. Submit ideas here. We want suggestions related to the three potential school reopening models. Your responses will be reviewed by staff and labor union representatives in our reopening work groups. They will brainstorm best ideas for consideration
Summer Meal Service - Free Grab and Go Meals
Summer meals will be distributed Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Students and/or a parent or guardian can pick up breakfast and lunch. On Thursday, they can pick up two days of breakfast and lunch.

Summer Reading Challenge
Hillcrest Elementary is raising the bar for reading! Join the Summer Reading Challenge. All our students need to do is simple: choose a book to read, read the book, and track that reading in “Beanstack”. Read, read, read anything! Just be sure to log your minutes and books read!
